Life in the Vinings area can easily be a batch of contradictions. It is exciting to hang out with hispters at Hotel Indigo’s bar but the area also boasts a serene, almost reverent environment at the Silver Comet Trail. Our area is full of growing families and those whose children have already grown and flown away. Vinings is both spicy and sweet, a mix of all the things I love.
This issue will showcase some of the best of everything Vinings and Smyrna has to offer. Take a peek inside Englishman’s Fine Furniture. Learn more about how the locally owned HP Spine Center is helping locals get adjusted to Spring. Check out how a Vinings resident and celebrity chef, G.Garvin, is helping another entrepreneur expand her delicious sweet treat business.
Now that the sun is out, the weather is getting warmer and the jonquils are blooming, I’m hoping you can spend some time enjoying the great outdoors. For those who are looking forward to some Spring Break travel, be sure to read our story on five trips within five hours of Atlanta.
Until next month, I’ll see you trolling for swim suits at Cumberland Mall or taking advantage of our city’s great Jonquil Festival!
In my bag
In my bag this month are two products I was recently introduced to and just love. Inchbug (inchbug.com) silicone bottle and cup labels make it helpful to distinguish who’s water bottle belongs to whom in my house. The Tile (thetileapp.com) is a tiny piece of technology that makes it nearly impossible to lose either my keys or my phone. Yes!
